IEWC began in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, area in 1962, and moved to its current campus in nearby New Berlin in 2000. IEWC is proud to be employee-owned since 1985, with more than 450 employees worldwide and approximately 175 in southeast Wisconsin.

The global headquarters of IEWC is located in New Berlin. The site is home to IEWC's largest distribution center and approximately 175 employees including sales, customer service, marketing, supply chain, HR, finance, and IT professionals. Other US office locations include: Phoenix, Arizona; Sterling, Massachusetts; Greenville, South Carolina; as well as El Paso and Plano, Texas.
